Workshop: Modelling Hydrodynamics of Coastal Waters under Climate Change, 9-12th May 2018, Alexandria
On the 9th of May 2018, ARCA organized a three days’ workshop on “Modeling Hydrodynamics of Coastal Waters Under Climate Change,” and it was attended by researchers from different backgrounds. The workshop addressed hydrodynamic modeling with specific focus on Delft3D. Hydrodynamic modeling in the context of the vulnerability of coastal water bodies to climate change impacts was also tackled.
The Participants worked with Delft3D to develop a hydrodynamic flow model for a coastal lagoon to simulate the interaction between the sea and the lagoon and the impact of sea level on the lagoon’s ecology.
